Decision Intelligence
For recurring, consequential decisions where the inputs are known but assembling them takes long enough that the decision is often made without them.
Decision intelligence brings data, policy, and reasoning together at the point of a decision, with the trail needed to explain afterwards how a conclusion was reached.
The trail is not overhead. A recommendation without visible reasoning has to be accepted or rejected wholesale; one that shows its steps can be corrected at the step that is wrong.
What the work includes
- Assembly of the relevant data and policy at the moment of decision
- Visible reasoning with source attribution for each element
- Confidence signalling used to triage rather than to decide
- Records sufficient to explain a decision months later
